The Auburn Coaching Institute

Indeed, leadership development is less about assuming a role than it is about exploring the fullness of who God has called us to be in the world. Last month, the 2011-2011 Northeast Residential Conference of the Auburn Coaching Institute engaged this guiding principle at the Chautauqua Institution's Athenaeum Hotel. Auburn staff, including the Rev. Dr. Laurie Ferguson, the Rev. J.C. Austin, and the Comprehensive Program coaching team, led a denominationally diverse group of Christian clergy in a series of workshops, discussions, artistic exercises, and worship services all designed to help participants nurture and promote excellence in ministry through coaching.
