FACE TO FACE/FAITH TO FAITH

Face to Face / Faith to Faith is an international, multifaith youth leadership program sponsored by Auburn Seminary.

Since 2001, Face to Face has brought together hundreds of Christian, Jewish and Muslim teenagers from Northern Ireland, the Middle East, South Africa, and the U.S. to develop a new generation of leaders able to negotiate a multifaith global society. Teens learn how their own religious traditions and those of others can be used to build a more peaceful world.

The yearlong program includes preparatory work in each region, a summer intensive in Holmes, NY, and ongoing regional follow-up programs and projects.

Face to Face / Faith to Faith takes its name and inspiration from the biblical text of Genesis 33:10, in which Jacob and his estranged twin brother, Esau, reconcile: “For truly to see your face is like seeing the face of God.”
